Club International was founded in 1996, making it the first "city club" in Central Germany. One of its core aims is to promote understanding among nations and to bring together people from a range of cultures. The purpose of Club International is to provide a platform for an exchange of ideas involving people from around the globe regardless of their field - whether it’s economics, politics, culture or science.
The numerous events at Club International offer a framework for interesting discussions and networking.
In the painstakingly and lovingly restored villa, built in what is known as the "Meyersche" style, at 115 Käthe Kollwitz Strasse in Leipzig, we offer our members and their guests a unique and elegant atmosphere conducive to sitting back with a good book, glass of wine or stimulating conversation.
A particular aim of ours is to organise events that are suitable for the whole family, since it is precisely these occasions that allow us to experience understanding among nations at first hand. The annual children’s festival, thanksgiving dinner and the St. Nicholas’ celebration are all great examples of how successful this concept has become.
